“For the past year, we have been using the “Cryoporter CS -80C” in our lab to store E. coli competent cells. The product is designed to provide labs with -80°C storage capability at the bench space, thus circumventing off-site storage hassles. We found that this capability greatly improved our lab’s efficiency and cut down on contamination issues related to sharing common space. In addition, we found that the thermostat and exterior temperature indicators were very reliable and robust, always accurate to a margin of ± 0.1°C. The unit has a sound design and occupies very little space on the bench. We have never experienced any technical difficulties or power failures from this unit. Overall, we are very satisfied and impressed with the general performance of the Cryoporter. We would recommend the Cryoporter without reservation to any lab looking for space-conscious solution.”
